My name is Dr. Siegfried Meister.

In this web page you will find information concerning the services I am offering as independent consultant and as partner of X.T.I.M.E, the experience I bring to the table as well as links of interest for people involved in the Exploration & Production of crude oil and natural gas. The intention is to initiate communication with potential business partners and experts in the Oil & Gas industry.

I am holding a degree with distinction in Petroleum Engineering from Mining University of Leoben and a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mining University Claustahl-Zellerfeld.

I have more than 30 years of experience in the Exploration & Production Industry covering evaluation, development and management of on- and offshore Oil and Gas assets located in more than 20 countries. My experience also includes the implementation of business driven information/knowledge management solution with the focus on value creation, flexibility and cost control.

A number of my articles were published by leading journals such as the Journal of Petroleum Technology, Erdoel and Erdgaszeitschrift and the Nato ASI Series. Furthermore I held a number of presentations covering a range of topics at various conferences (SPI, European Gas Union, World Petroleum Congress, etc.)

My long-term practical experience, my knowledge of and my interest in theoretical work and my ability to analyse topics logically and consistently enable me to teach as well as develop and implement high quality business driven solutions resulting in improved economic performance of my clients.

As an independent consultant I provide services and manage projects in the area of Information Management as well as Exploration and Production. In Public Courses and In-house Training I instruct managers and experts in E&P strategy, Project Management and Information Technology.
